DICTIONARY ON METHODS OF TEACHING TOURIST DISCIPLINES (TUTORIAL)

The Kazakhstan education system is subjected to radical changes, which resulted in the modification of the paradigm of educational sphere.

A flexible education system has expanded the boundaries of educational services that meets the new requirements in terms of global competition.

Quality of training of a professional personnel, comparability of level qualifications of the different countries all these became an important task that promotes increase in effective mobility of a human capital.

With the signing by Kazakhstan of the Bologna Declaration in 2010, according to key parameters of Bologna Process, an effective functioning of higher educational institutions became one of strategic objectives of state policy in the field of the higher education.

In this regard the updated structure and contents of educational programs 5B090200 “Tourism”, 6M090200 “Tourism” and 6D090200 “Tourism” reflected innovative approach of training of students, namely, student oriented learning. Student oriented learning involves the use of categories such as competencies, learning outcomes, modules, the European translation system and accumulation of credits (ECTS).

We bring to your attention the tutorial “Dictionary on methods of teaching tourist disciplines” is a reference point for system of professional tourist education in the light of key parameters of Bologna Process. In the dictionary all terms, concepts and definitions are described in an available form.

The proposed dictionary is intended for students, undergraduates, doctoral students and teachers of system of professional tourism education.
